Terms of service

Last updated 2 October 2026

These terms apply to race organisers who use trka.org (the "service") to build race websites, take registrations and run race day. By creating an account you accept them on behalf of yourself and your organisation.

1. Who we are

trka.org is operated by Darko Anojčić, a private individual, Novi Sad, Serbia ("we", "us"). Contact: darko.anojcic@gmail.com.

2. Accounts and organisations

You must give accurate information and keep your password secure. An account belongs to one person; invite your team members instead of sharing logins.

An organisation is the customer: owners and admins manage its races, team and subscription; members have read-only access. You are responsible for everything done under your organisation.

3. Free build mode and the paid plan

Creating races, configuring registration, choosing templates, building pages and branding, inviting your team and previewing your site are free, with no time limit.

Publishing race sites, managing participants, race day tools (check-in and volunteers), results and dashboard statistics require the paid plan: 200 € per year, VAT included, per organisation, covering unlimited races and team members.

Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh) as Merchant of Record, which charges your card, issues invoices and handles VAT. Polar's own terms apply to the payment. The subscription renews automatically every year until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time in the subscription portal; access continues until the end of the paid year and the subscription does not renew. Payments are non-refundable except where the law or Polar's refund policy requires otherwise.

If a renewal payment fails, access continues while the payment is retried. We will announce price changes at least 30 days before they apply to your next renewal.

4. When the plan ends

When a subscription or free access ends, your race sites go offline and registration closes. Runners who already registered keep access to their registration page and payment instructions. Your data is kept, and renewing brings the sites back without publishing again.

5. Your races, registrations and payments

You organise the race; we provide the software. You are responsible for your race, its rules, prices, waivers, permits, insurance and communication with participants.

Entry fees are paid by runners directly to your bank account (for example with the NBS IPS QR code). trka.org does not receive, hold or refund entry fees and takes no commission. Refunds and disputes with participants are between you and them.

6. Content and acceptable use

You keep the rights to the content you upload and give us the permission needed to host and display it on your race sites. You confirm you may use it (photos, logos, texts, GPX tracks).

Do not use the service for unlawful content, misleading events, spam or attempts to disrupt or access the service without permission. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Personal data of participants

For participant, volunteer and subscriber data you collect through your race sites, your organisation is the controller and we process the data on your behalf, only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You must have a legal basis for the data you collect and answer participants' requests.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but provide it "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost registrations or revenue.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your organisation at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; for material changes we will notify organisation owners by email in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, and the competent court in Belgrade has jurisdiction, without limiting consumer rights you may have.
